Avery Carter -

It is strange that you say you do not like being lied to; yet, you lied to me and said it was your instinct.  Now you have become a traitor to your king, you are lying to him about your loyalties and you are lying to everyone else.  You do not know who or what is really right or why you have been lied to.
What a fantastic dilemma, it reminds me of Junius Brutus, slayer of Julius Caesar in the year 44 before Christ.  Will you kill your king?
A Fallen angel is one that has directly disobeyed orders of our Father, usually more than once or has outwardly shown blasphemy.  If an angel disobeys an order for the first time he or she will most likely get demoted before Falling . . . which is what happened to me. Please, Avery Carter, if you should encounter an angel ever in your line of work, never assume he or she is good.
Why are teenagers the primary choice for secret deadly missions?  Why not send adults who are more experienced and have more sense?  I, myself, was surprise when I came down to Earth and found that the way I was perceived by the human eye was as an older teenager.  Have the young been made to do the dirty work for the old?
So, this Brant, the enemy of your king, captured you and he told you a story of your home that differed from the one you were used to and it changed you. What was the difference?  What made you so sure that you could trust him?  How do you know he wasn’t lying to you?
My Father loves you more because he created you! Granted, he created the angels as well but a king loves his people more than he loves his servants.  That is really the only way I can explain it, don’t ask me to try to understand God.
Everyone creates their own paradise, their own heaven and that is where they go when they die.  When I report to Heaven I go “back stage” if you will, where it’s all strategies, plans, life and death . . . it is far from paradise.  Earth is much simpler.
What exactly is your meaning when you say that your parents job is to “keep you under control”?
Alright, now onto the justified trouble.  I do not know how much of this you will understand but I shall try my best to explain . . .
Death is real . . . well obviously but I mean that Death is an angel.  Some time ago I uncovered a plot to kill Death and if you kill Death you must take his place becoming the new Angel of Death.  With this there is power . . . and lots of it.  In the hands of a power hungry angel, the world could eventually collapse and be ruled by the new Angel of Death.  I could not let this happen and after a series of unfortunate events I concluded that the angel attempting to kill Death was one named Perseferious. So, I confronted him and we fought . . . and we caused an earthquake that shook the country you called Haiti that killed thousands.  In Heaven I tried to prove the Perseferious was trying to kill Death but the Order of the Saints and the Counsel of the Arch Angels didn’t believe me . . . well one did but his voice wasn’t enough.  I was demoted to the rank of Guardian Angel and sent to protect a young girl and her brother (who I forgot to mention in the last letter, excuse the mistake).  I still am trying to prove Perseferious’s guilt and with the help of Celsabourne I know I am close . . . but I fear it is about to be to late.  Being a Guardian Angel is also why I don’t get to see Celsabourne as much as I used to.  He is my brother and my closest companion.  He has saved me numerous times and I have done like wise for him.
I am an angel so naturally I have to power to be anywhere at anytime when ever I want to.  I can control nature, kill demons, be invisible to humans and I can also kill angels.  It seems like a wonderful thing but I also have to keep the balance, save people who aren’t meant to die, re-correct destiny paths, cast out rogue angels, follow every order without question and never ever have doubt.  It is a lot to ask of any being.
Why must you be born an orphan to be a spy? Also, why would you want to be a spy?
Angel feelings are hard to explain; if a thousand humans died in a war I would be able to feel it from a million miles away. If a human watched a thousand people die right in front of them they might not ever get over it.
No information is ever lost forever, Avery Carter, I believe the path to your parents is out there.  I’m sure you’ll find them.
